Open Studio Mentorship

Being an artist is daunting, whether you're a student, emerging creative or even a seasoned professional. Occasionally every artist needs some technical guidance, a soundboard or just some general guidance.

Having completed my undergraduate degree via correspondence through the University of South Africa, I know what it means to work in solitude and with limited access to specialised tools or a studio. Now, as an artist with many exhibitions and a masters degree under my belt, I would like to share my experience through opening up my studio for peer-to-peer mentoring sessions.

My workspace consists of a sculpture workshop (for messy projects) and studio (for less messy projects). The workshop is equipped for most general sculpture and wood-work projects (including a wood lathe), while the clean studio is well-equipped for fibre arts projects as well as painting and drawing. The space is pretty flexible: you name it and I can probably make it happen!

My Open Studio Mentorship idea is still in its baby shoes, but I am open to hear about your needs. Fill out the form below and let's get creative together.
